Abstract
Atom location, by channeling enhanced microanalysis (ALCHEMI), was per formed to examine the substitute behavior of Zr atoms added to a Ni3Al intermetallic compound. The results show that Zr has a strong tendenc y in the Al site independent of the composition of the host elements.
