Abstract
A continuous-wave all-solid-state singly-resonant optical parametric o scillator (SRO) with excellent spectral purity based on MgO:LiNbO3 is demonstrated. The pump wave is provided by a frequency-doubled miniatu re Nd:YAG ring laser and is resonantly enhanced in the SRO cavity, res ulting in an external threshold of 200 mW. Stable single-frequency emi ssion in the 1000-1135 nm range has been obtained with 2 GHz continuou s tunability and signal/idler linewidths < 160 kHz.
