MONOCHLOROTRIAZINIC REACTIVE DISAZO DYES

The paper presents the synthesis of some monochlorotriazinic reactive disazo dyes, using para-phenylenediamine and Laurent acid, as basic co mponents. A good example of monochlorotriazinic disazo dye resulted fr om the diazotization of the sulfanilic acid, coupling with acid H in a lkaline medium, acylation of the resulted amino dye with s-1,3,5-trich lorotriazine followed by condensation with para-phenylenediamine. The dyes having Laurent acid in their composition are synthesized via the diazotization of this acid, followed by coupling to alpha-naphthylamin e, diazotization of the monoazo compound, coupling to various aminonap hthol sulfonic acids (H, gamma, J, Cleve, Laurent), condensation of th e diazo intermediate with s-1,3,5-trichtorotriazine and finally with a mmonia.
