Abstract
The presence of gas in the wall of the stomach in a child is a rare co ndition and usually indicates necrotising enterocolitis. We report a c ase of gastric emphysema in a 20-day-old baby girl with duodenal obstr uction due to a congenital duodenal diaphragm. This association is ext remely rare and has been described only once in the literature.
