M. Wyss et al., PREPARATION AND THERMOCHEMICAL REACTIVITY OF STRONTIUM IRON ZIRCONIUM-OXIDES SRFE1-XZRXO3-DELTA, Solid state ionics, 101, 1997, pp. 547-554
Perovskite-related solid solutions with the formula SrFe1-xZrxO3-delta
have been prepared by a conventional solid state reaction. The compos
itions 0.24 < x < 1 are lacking due to a broad miscibility gap In the
quaternary compounds small amounts of SrZrO3 were detected as by-produ
ct. Phase analysis by X-ray powder diffractometry, electron microprobe
investigations and Fe-57-Mossbauer spectroscopy as well as thermograv
imetry have been used to investigate the influence of the Fe:Zr ratio
on structure and thermochemical reactivity in hydrogen atmosphere of t
he studied solid solutions.
