Abstract
A parallel special-purpose computer for computational physics is prese nted. It works as an interactive desktop system with a user-friendly i nterface: its performance is comparable to that of a supercomputer. It s rationals, system hardware, software architecture, and performance a re described by presenting a Monte Carlo-Metropolis simulation of an i nteracting particle system.
