Abstract
The additional force is calculated which acts due to the hypothetical degree-type interatomic interactions in the configuration of the recen t Casimir force measurement. The constraints on the parameters of such interactions are obtained and compared with the constraints following from previous Casimir force measurements. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B .V.
