Abstract
An SAR model for inhibition of metabolic cooperation (iMC) was develop ed. The structural and physicochemical features associated with the ab ility to cause iMC are primarily lipophilic moieties consistent with t he possibility that they represent receptor-binding ligands. There are also significant parallels between the structural descriptors associa ted with iMC and those associated with tumor promotion and with carcin ogenesis in rodents. Overall, the present study provides structural ev idence that iMC is a feature associated with the carcinogenic process. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
