Abstract
BaCuO2 has a pronounced effect on the magnetization data of high-T-c s uperconductors. By subtracting the estimated magnetic contribution of BaCuO2 present in the superconducting samples, the susceptibility is s een to be purely diamagnetic. (C) 1997 American Institute of Physics.
