Abstract
A simple pyramidal tube phantom has been designed to allow accurate lo cation of a selected slice along the desired asis of a magnetic resona nce scanner and to provide a check of the quality of slice selection. It is particularly helpful in locating the origin of any out-of-slice ghost artefacts, The geometry of the phantom allows the slice position s to be calculated readily. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Inc.
