Abstract
Regularities have been studied that characterize the existence of the electret state in multicomponent solid solutions of the lead zirconate -titanate (PZT). When the unit cell displays rhombohedral distortion i n these solutions, their electret state is more stable compared to the case of the tetragonal distortion. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
