Abstract
A 6-year-old girl was seen with a history of progressive trismus and e xpansion of the right mandible over a 9-month period. Desmoplastic fib roma was diagnosed on biopsy. This report reviews the diagnostic crite ria and surgical management of this uncommon primary bone tumor of the maxillofacial region.
