Abstract
The glycopeptide analogue of eel calcitonin, [Asn(GlcNAc)(3)]-CT (1), in which N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) is attached to the asparagine re sidue of the peptide was synthesized using a thioester method to build the polypeptide segment and a dimethylphosphinothioic mixed anhyride (Mpt-MA) method for the incorporation of the glycopeptide moiety.
