Wy. Ruan et Hf. Cheung, THE 3-ELECTRON QUANTUM-DOT STUDIED USING HYPERSPHERICAL COORDINATES, Journal of physics. Condensed matter, 9(49), 1997, pp. 10901-10907
The hyperangular equation for three particles interacting via an inver
se-square potential in a harmonic well was solved numerically by using
the correlated hyperspherical harmonics as basis functions. The impli
cations of permutational and rotational symmetries were analysed in de
tail. Some of the qualitative features of low-lying states were found
to be determined completely by symmetries.
