N. Bensarizizi et C. Alamichel, HIGH-RESOLUTION FTIR STUDY OF THE NU(4)-NU(6) ROVIBRATIONAL BAND OF CH3 BR-79 BETWEEN 4870 AND 5030 CM(-1)(2), Journal of molecular spectroscopy, 186(1), 1997, pp. 34-42
The nu(4)(+/-1) + 2 nu(6)(0) and nu(4)(-/+1) + 2 nu(6)(+/-2) perpendic
ular components and the nu(4)(+/-1) + 2 nu(6)(+/-2) parallel component
of the CH3 Br-79 isotopomer have been found and studied in high resol
ution (0.006 cm(-1)). Both perpendicular components are linked altoget
her and also to the nu(2) + nu(3) + nu(4) band by anharmonic resonance
s. A model taking these anharmonic resonances and l(2,2) resonances in
to account has been used. It allowed to obtain a r.m.s deviation of 0.
0065 cm(-1) in a least squares fit over 1327 lines (46 being zero-weig
hted) belonging to the three components of nu(4) + 2 nu(6) and to the
calculated K Delta K = -1 sub-band of nu(2) + nu(3) + nu(4) deduced fr
om the corresponding observed sub-band of nu(2) + nu(3) + nu(4) - nu(3
). (C) 1997 Academic Press.
