Abstract
The rotational spectra of (OClO)-Cl-35 and (OClO)-Cl-37 in their (000) , (100), (010), (001), and (020) states have been reinvestigated in se lected regions between 130 and 526 GHz. About 800 newly measured lines spanning the quantum numbers 2 less than or equal to N less than or e qual to 65 and 0 less than or equal to K-a less than or equal to 17 ha ve been analyzed together with data from two previous microwave and mi llimeter wave studies. In particular, the spectroscopic constants in t he ground vibrational states have been improved enabeling precise pred ictions of line positions into the submillimeter region. The newly der ived ground state rotational and quartic centrifugal distortion consta nts, their vibrational changes, and the sextic centrifugal distortion constants were used together with data from infrared studies in a calc ulation of the quartic force field.
