Dv. Malevich et al., FORMATION OF PLATINUM-TITANIUM OXIDE FILM ELECTRODES AND THEIR ELECTROCHEMICAL STABILITY, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 70(4), 1997, pp. 558-561
Formation of platinum-titanium oxide film electrodes by thermal decomp
osition of a mixture of platinum(IV) and titanium(III) chlorides on th
e surface of a titanium substrate was studied. The dependence of the e
lectrocatalytic activity on the amount of dopants and time of finish t
hermal treatment was investigated. The effect of the number of deposit
ed layers on the rate of oxygen evolution at the anode and electrochem
ical stability in the course of electrolysis is demonstrated.
