SOME SPECIFIC FEATURES OF REDUCTION OF NITROGEN-OXIDES WITH NATURAL-GAS COMPONENTS IN THE PRESENCE OF ALUMINA

The reduction of NO and NO2 to N-2 with propane and methane in the pre sence of a catalyst, unmodified Al2O3, was studied in gas flows contai ning large excess of O-2. The dependence is examined of the extent of NO reduction on the properties of Al2O3 (S-sp, PH Of aqueous extract) and the mode of reduction (relative content of NO and C3H8, temperatur e, O-2 content).
