Abstract
In carrot plants (Daucus carota L.) the concentration of six cytokinin s (isopentenyladenine, isopentenyladenosine, zeatin, zeatinriboside, d ihydrozeatin, dihydrozeatinriboside) and of IAA indicate characteristi c changes during a 24h day at both the natural and a constant environm ent. Such variations in phytohormone concentrations were also observed in cultured carrot root explants.
