LOCAL THERAPY OF CALCANEL ENTESITIS AND B URSITIS IN SERONEGATIVE SPONDYLARTHRITIS

Four methods of local treatment of calcanel entesopathy and bursitis ( hydrocortisone phonophoresis, laser radiation, glucocorticosteroids in jections into the calcanel region, physiotherapy with sinusoidal modul ated currents) were tried in 69 patients with seronegative spondylarth ritis. Local injections of glucocorticosteroids produced the best effe ct. Laser therapy or hydrocortisone phonophoresis is recommended in do minating pain syndrome in the calcanel region. SMC-therapy was not goo d in inflammation of tendinous-ligamentous system and calcanel bursas in patients with spondylarthritis.
