Abstract
Two antiulcer drugs, ranitidine and pirenzepine belonging to blockers of H-2-receptors and selective M-cholinoblockers, respectively, were c ompared by efficacy against erosive and ulcer lesions in the upper gas trointestinal mucosa. A total of 62 rheumatics were examined. In patie nts treated by nonsteroid antiinflammatory drugs irrespectively of the mode of their administration the highest response was shown by raniti dine while pirenzepine efficacy proved poor.
