STEREOISOMERIC FLAVOR COMPOUNDS - 79 - SIMULTANEOUS ENANTIOSELECTIVE ANALYSIS OF 3-BUTYLPHTHALIDE AND 3-BUTYLHEXAHYDROPHTHALIDE STEREOISOMERS IN CELERY, CELERIAC, AND FUNNEL
D. Bartschat et al., STEREOISOMERIC FLAVOR COMPOUNDS - 79 - SIMULTANEOUS ENANTIOSELECTIVE ANALYSIS OF 3-BUTYLPHTHALIDE AND 3-BUTYLHEXAHYDROPHTHALIDE STEREOISOMERS IN CELERY, CELERIAC, AND FUNNEL, Journal of agricultural and food chemistry, 45(12), 1997, pp. 4554-4557
Using enantioselective multidimensional gas chromatography with l-6-O-
(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)]-beta-cyclodextrin as the chiral stationary
phase, the simultaneous analysis of the 3-butylphthalide enantiomers a
nd all eight 3-butylhexahydrophthalide stereoisomers was achieved. Ena
ntiomeric distributions of compounds in celery, celeriac, celery seed,
and fennel extracts were elucidated.
