Abstract
Using enantioselective multidimensional gas chromatography with l-6-O- (tert-butyldimethylsilyl)]-beta-cyclodextrin as the chiral stationary phase, the simultaneous analysis of the 3-butylphthalide enantiomers a nd all eight 3-butylhexahydrophthalide stereoisomers was achieved. Ena ntiomeric distributions of compounds in celery, celeriac, celery seed, and fennel extracts were elucidated.
