Abstract
The crystal of complex [Eu-2(phen)(2)(C6H5COO)(6)] was synthesized and its structure of the single crystal was determined by X-ray diffracti on. The crystal belongs to a triclinic system, space group P1, with a= 1.081 56(7) nm, b=1.193 31(7) nm, c=1.244 01(8) nm, alpha=104.972(5)de grees, beta=93.661(5)degrees. gamma=113.297(5)degrees, V=1.399 4(2) nm a, Z=1, R=0.043 7, R-w=0.041 4. UV-Vis and IR spectra of the complex w ere determined and discussed.
