Abstract
A novel low temperature phase K3Sb0.3Y4O8 . 6H(2)O was synthesized hyd rothermally from K2O-Sb2O3-Y2O3-H2O system, and characterized by means of XRD, SEM, IR, TG, DTA and ICP methods. The unit cell for the produ ct is hexagonal with the cell parameters a=1.657 6 nm and c=1.186 5 nm . The volume of the cell is calculated to be 2.823 3 nm(3). The produc t was decomposed into oxides from 310 degrees C to 390 degrees C.
