M. Arghir, THE ELASTIC SYSTEM STUDY OF THE VIBRATING MILL WITH SPATIAL MOTIONS FOR MILLING THE METALLIC POWDERS, Nonlinear analysis, 30(1), 1997, pp. 159-168
Obtaining the sintered compounds out of metallic powders represents a
major technological problem, powder milling being here of first import
ance. The present paper tries to bring a contribution to the elastic s
ystem study of vibrating mill with spatial motions for milling the met
allic powders. For milling the metallic powders, I proposed the vibrat
ing mill with spatial movement. The mill is formed by: the tank of the
mill - the proper working space; the driving system; the elastic supp
orting system. The elastic supporting system is formed by an even numb
er of springs, of identical elastic characteristics, to keep the symme
try of the group of ''n'' elastically forces with respect to the rotat
ion axis of the driving system. The elastic system realizes the connec
tion of the mill with a rigid and fixed support. In the general motion
of(he rigid, assimilated to the vibrating mill, it acts upon the elas
tic system, and none of the deformations in the springs does nor excee
d the imposed condition, so that the tangential unitary effort appeari
ng in the section of the cells should not exceed the admissible value.
In this paper,it establishes the conditions for protect the elastic s
ystem of vibrating mill with spatial motions, and proposes the driving
system in manner to manage the milling process.
