Abstract
The efficiency of hexakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-alpha-cyclodextrin (TRIM EA) and heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-beta-cyclodextrin (TRIMEB) as CSA s for the determination by NMR of the enantiomeric composition of tris ubstituted allenes and aromatic hydrocarbons has been compared in CD3O D as solvent: their complementary use allows the analysis of a large r ange of substrates to be carried out.
