Abstract
The reactivity of tertiary alpha- and beta-ketoenamines, derived from 1,2- and 1,3-cyclopentane-dione, respectively, towards different elect rophilic diazenes is examined. 1,3,4-oxadiazine-type adducts have not been isolated. The results are compared with those already reported fo r analogous six-membered systems.
