Abstract
Neutral amphiphiles of a nem type corresponding to 1,2-dialkylated man nitol ethers (6-10) were synthesized, Amphiphile-lipase aggregates wer e found to function as an immobilized enzyme system for enantioselecti ve acetylation or enantioselective hydrolysis of alpha-hydroxy esters or alpha-acetoxy esters, respectively, in organic solvents.
