Abstract
The gamma method was applied to investigate the specific features of s edimentation of cement-water dispersions both with or without superpla sticizers. Substantial differences were detected in the density distri bution over the height of the dispersion, In particular, for hydrating dispersions, the layer-by-layer pattern of density distribution in th e presence of surfactants and relatively smooth density variation over the height in the dispersion with no additives were confirmed.
