G. Milne et al., DESIGN OF HIGH-INTEGRATION MICROCONTROLLER FOR CONSUMER INTERNET APPLICATIONS, IEEE transactions on consumer electronics, 43(4), 1997, pp. 1070-1073
The increasing use and understanding of the Internet has inspired new
consumer products which in turn have demanded new types of high-integr
ation/low-cost microcontrollers. This paper describes the integration
of a 32-bit RISC CPU and peripherals required for TV-orientated Intern
et Appliance products. The resulting device requires only external ROM
, SDRAM and a network interface to complete the hardware platform.
