We determined the equation of state for ammonium fluoroberyllate up to
3 GPa in the temperature range from 160 to 300 K using energy dispers
ive X-ray diffraction. The bulk modulus and its pressure derivation at
room temperature as well as the thermal expansion coefficient at 640
MPa were obtained from these measurements. Our results indicate that t
he bulk modulus and its pressure derivative have a negligible temperat
ure dependence in this temperature range. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Lt
