INDOOR AND OUTDOOR RADON MEASUREMENTS IN SOME REGIONS OF TAJIKISTAN AND EUROPEAN RUSSIA

The measurements of Rn concentrations in some seismically active regio ns of Tadjikistan and more quiet central parts of European Russia were performed during September and October 1995. Alpha sensitive CR-39 pl astics were exposed during 30 days in standard Rn collectors of 100 mm height and 60 mm diameter. Organic membranes which prevent registrati on of short lived alpha decaying nuclei of Th chain of radioactive dec ay were placed at the open sides of Rn collectors. The preliminary dat a on Rn level measurements are presented.
