Electrochemically etched tracks induced by a monoenergetic proton beam
in an organic polymer polyallyl diglycol carbonate (PADC) were observ
ed using laser scanning confocal microscopy. The etched tracks were fl
uorescently dyed and viewed with an oil immersion objective. Three-dim
ensional (3-D) reconstructions of etched tracks and their look-through
projections onto the x,y-and x,z-planes, respectively, are presented
in this paper.
