A generalized formula for summing of kinetic resistances for moving an
d stationary media in a cylindrical reactor has been proposed and anal
yzed. This formula can be used for the solution of inverse problems an
d determination of the probability of the heterogeneous decay of a gas
eous particle in a single collision with the surface and the diffusion
coefficient of the gas, that is, parameters that define the measured
index of monoexponential damping of the reactant concentration at any
gas flow velocity in a tubular reactor.
