The reaction of phenol-formaldehyle oligomers (PFO) synthesis using he
terogeneous silica-based catalysts modified by acid groups was studied
. It was found that the variation of the pore dimensions of the carrie
r used for the catalyst preparation makes it possible to obtain the PF
O fractions with a reasonably narrow distribution. Some kinetic parame
ters of the reaction were determined.
