Abstract
The electrophoretic patterns of the outer membrane proteins of agar-en trapped Escherichia coli cells were found to be different from those o f free organisms. In particular, the porin protein OmpF was underexpre ssed in immobilized bacteria, that displayed enhanced resistance to la tamoxef.
