SERVICES FOR FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE BIRTHS - THE UNITED-KINGDOM MODEL

Families with multiple births have special needs that are insufficient ly recognized by many of their professional care givers. The Multiple Births Foundation is the first organization to provide professional se rvices to these families through twins clinics, a telephone service, m eetings for parents and literature. Ifs aim now is to provide an educa tional program for professionals so that the special needs of these fa milies can be more widely recognized and provided for.
