Abstract
Proceeding from the fundamental advantages in the application of heavy oil with a high sulphur content in unit combined heat and power stati ons (BHKW), the requirements for the erection and operation of a flue gas desulphurization plant, consisting of a two-stage waste gas scrubb er, an electrostatic filter connected in series for the separation of the soot, a Lime storage and metering device, and a gypsum dewatering plant, are described. Operational results and experiences are reported on.
