Abstract
Centrifuged latex concentrate was freshly prepared and stored up to 18 months. The effect of storage of the latex and its subsequent prevulc anization on tensile properties of the film was evaluated. The effect of storage after-treatment, and ageing characteristics of prevulcanize d latex films were also investigated, Properties and ageing resistance of the prevulcanized latex films were affected by storage of latex, S torage or after-treatment of the films substantially improved the tens ile properties.
