T. Kawachi et al., ENHANCEMENT OF THE 15.4NM LINE OF THE LITHIUM-LIKE ALUMINUM RECOMBINING PLASMA LASER USING A HALF CAVITY, JPN J A P 1, 36(11), 1997, pp. 7048-7049
A 30-mm long aluminum slab target was irradiated by a line-focused Nd;
glass laser light. The relative intensity of the 3d D-2-4f F-2 laser
line (15.4nm) of the lithiumlike aluminum ions was measured. In this e
xperiment, we put a Mo/Si multilayer mirror on the opposite side of th
e spectrometer to construct a half cavity. With the use of this mirror
, the intensity of the 15.4nm line became 1.8 times larger than the ca
se without the mirror.
