Abstract
Documentation of familial aggregation of five siblings with lung cance r is presented. Lung cancer was not observed in their parents nor amon g their children, which is consistent with the hypothesis of recessive inheritance, although strong environmental factors such as tobacco sm oking may contribute to the development of lung cancer in such familie s.
