Sr-bearing Hg-based cuprates (Hg1-yTiy)Sr-2(Ca1-xYx)Cu2Oz with Ti on t
he Hg site have been successfully prepared. X-ray Rietveld refinement
of the structure for the O-2-annealed sample with nominal composition
of y = 0.25 and x = 0.50 is carried out based on tetragonal space grou
p P4/mmm. The refined chemical composition is (Hg0.59Ti0.41)Sr-2(Ca0.3
2Y0.68)Cu2O6.66. Superconducting properties of the as-prepared samples
have been improved after O-2 annealing, the highest onset T-c of 100
K is obtained in the O-2-annealed sample with y = 0.25 and x = 0.35. (
