The results of experimental investigations of reduction of magnetite p
ellets with different granulations of added charred coal, under nitrog
en atmosphere, in the temperature range of 1273 to 1384 K, are given i
n this paper. The kinetic parameters, activation energy and preexponen
tial factor have been determined, which enabled defining of the rate c
onstant and charred coal granulation's dependencies upon temperature a
nd dependence of the reduction course upon time, temperature and charr
ed coal granulation. Also, the dependence of reduction activation ener
gy on specific surface area and average grain diameter of added solid
reducer-charred coal are presented.
