Abstract
The problem of the dynamic loading of plane elastic domains with an ir regular boundary is considered. The energy solution of this problem in the theory of elasticity is constructed using a modified Kostrov meth od [I] and ideas on the extension of symmetric operators in Hilbert sp ace. A solution of the problem of the loading of a wedge and a domain with a contour which contains m corners is obtained. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
