Abstract
[MoH2(OMe)(2)(dppe)(2)] reacts with a series of phthalimide derivative s, each of which contains an electron-donor, an electron-acceptor, or redox-active center, to give the corresponding (substituted phthalimid o)hydrido complexes in good yields. Investigation of spectroscopic pro perties suggests that some of these complexes have a polarized structu re in a polar solvent.
