Abstract
It is planned to extend the drinking water treatment plant in Roetgen, Germany, of the Wasserwerk des Kreises Aachen (WdKA) which has a capa city of about 6000 m(3)/h. Of course, membrane filtration (micro- or u ltrafiltration) is also taken into consideration. For this reason one micro-and two ultrafiltration pilot plants have been compared since th e end of 1996 regarding efficiency and performance.
