Y. Iikura et al., CONTINUOUS ISOPROTERENOL INHALATION-THERAPY IN CHILDREN WITH SEVERE ASTHMATIC ATTACK, International archives of allergy and immunology, 113(1-3), 1997, pp. 370-372
We studied the I-type isoproterenol inhalation therapy for patients wi
th severe asthmatic attacks who were admitted at the Department of All
ergy of National Children's Hospital from 1981 to 1991. One hour after
I-type isoproterenol inhalation therapy statistically significant eff
ects were noted with regard to the asthmatic status. Moreover no side
effect was found amoung the subjects. From these data, I-type isoprote
renol inhalation therapy is thought to be effective for severe asthmat
ic attacks.
