Abstract
High-spin states in Xe-124 were populated by means of the Pd-110(O-18, 4n) reaction. In-beam gamma rays were measured using the GASP spectrom eter. A dipole band, similar to those previously found in other nuclei of this mass region, was identified in Xe-124.
