Abstract
The regionally proximal relation Q in a minimal flow is studied by mea ns of the prolongation relation D on the product flow. Various connect ions between D and Q are developed. In particular, it is shown that fo r minimal flows with acting abelian group Q is an equivalence relation . D is also used to study weakly mixing minimal flows.
