Abstract
In this article all known variations of the injection moulding process are summarized and logically arranged. Advantages and disadvantages a s well as the necessary production equipment are described and evaluat ed. Applications implemented to date illustrate the possibilities of t hese special methods and encourage the reader to consider additional p ossible applications.
